He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Hadley "Yank" and Norma Autrey Reid. He is survived by: his wife Twilla Ann Reid; his sons, James Adam Reid (Leigha) and Michael Neal Reid; and his grandchildren, Thomas Reid, Tyler Reid, Clark Reid, Daniel Steinberg and Ally Steinberg.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Elam Baptist Church Cemetery (1700 Elam Rd, Thomasville, AL 36784).
