He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Kirk Beck; his grandson Gavin Beck Bowden; and his brother Woodie Earl "Boo Boo" Beck III. He is survived by: his father Woodie Earl; his wife Marla Beck; his children, James Anthony "Jabo" Beck, Jr., Jessica Bowden (David) and Jami McManus (Chad); his stepchildren, Crystal, Josh Daniels, Brandy, Whitt Daniels, Bryan and Wendy Hurst; and his siblings, Kenneth Glenn "Ken" Beck and Barbara Ann Meeks. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home (34550 US-43, Thomasville, AL 36784). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
