He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Honor Leroy and Betty Strickland; his wife Margaret Ann Strickland; his sons, William Troy Strickland, Jr. (Misty), Roger Dewayne Strickland, David Michael Strickland (Shelli) and Jonathan Andrew Strickland (Candace); and his sister Dean Rutledge (Terry). He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
