With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Trudy May (Thomasville, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley C. Autery and Kate Sims Autery; her husband Honree Reece May; her siblings, Ted Autery, Gene Autery, Reba Pearson and William Jasper Autery (Jackie); her grandchildren, Callie Chaney and Hunter Campbell; and her great grandchild Ava Brunson.
She is survived by: her children, William May (Kristy) and Joannah Chaney (James); her brother Ralph Autery (Sandra); and her grandchildren, Hannah Lamkin, Ashley Boyette, Nick Chaney, Hannah Chaney and Lucas Chaney. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
