With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Ellis McClurkin of Thomasville, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As William departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved William. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Newberry McClurkin and Shiloh Methodist Church. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Averett McClurkin; his daughters, Beth Borak (Hugh) of Tuscaloosa and Billie Henson (Chuck) of Linden; and his grandchildren, Jackson Borak, Joshua Borak and Sarah Borak. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends to honor Mack's memory with a contribution to the Bear Creek Preservation and Historical Association LLC for restoration of Shiloh Methodist Church.
