He was predeceased by: his mother Sarah Vail Joyner; and his sister Mary Grissett. He is survived by: his father Wilbur Joyner; his wife Rhonda Joyner of Thorsby; his sons, Cliff Joyner (Kelly) of Sandy, Lee Joyner of Orlando, Gabe Vines of Thorsby, Nicholas Vines of Thorsby and Davis Joyner of Lakeland, Florida; and his siblings, B. B. Joyner (Susan) of Franklin, Tennessee, Sissy Joyner of Fairhope, Julie Gibbs of Atmore and Ruth Dickerson of Dothan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West End Baptist Church (2005 2nd Ave N, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the Thorsby Memorial Cemetery.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Lupus Foundation in Bob's memory.
