Norma Jean Barrett Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Jean Barrett of Thorsby, Alabama, who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Watts and Willie Frank Northcutt Watts; her husband John Douglas Barrett; and her granddaughter Brooke Yeargan. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Barnett (Barry) of Thorsby and Kim Dupree (Chris) of Columbiana; her grandchildren, Jason Barnett (Amy) of Verbena, Hunter Barnett of Tampa, FL, April Yeargan of Columbiana and Allie Yeargan of Columbiana; her great grandchildren, Lilly Barnett of Daphne, Brody Barnett (Kelsey) of Verbena and Brooks Barnett of Verbena; her sisters, Sandy Collins of Thorsby, Neice and Jennifer Thompson (Benjamin) of Birmingham; her great-nieces, Hannah and Haylee Henry; and also, Ella Ann Thompson and Adalyn Giles.
