He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Rutledge; his children, Jeff Rutledge (Sherrie), Charlie Rutledge (Marla), Debra Beech (Duck), Cindy McIlwain (Ronnie) and John Kurtis Rutledge; and his grandchildren, Dougy, Misty, Maranda, BethAnn, Danny, Chris, Charles, Sherree, Jonathan, Tyler, Rachel, Courtney, Joshua and Erica. He is also survived by 30 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
