In loving memory of Sylvia Scarbrough of Tibbie, Alabama, who departed this world on June 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Sylvia leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Pittman and Margarett Howard Baxter; her husband Willard Scarbrough; her brother Orville Winford "Buddy" Baxter; and her husband Grady Cleveland Young (late Willard Scarbrough).

She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Gay Young Hayes and Lisa Young Aube' (Patrick); her grandchildren, Daniel Grady Hayes (Kelly Swords), Joseph David Hayes, Eric Chet Anderson (Denise Rhodes) and Kelsey Elizabeth Anderson (Randall Griffin); her great grandchildren, Daniel Clayton Hayes, Braxton David McCameron, Elijah Lee Hayes, Curtis Jerimiah Hayes, Gabriella Rae McCameron, Avilynn Chelsey Hayes, Keaton Chet McCameron, Joziah Joseph Hayes, Jacob Anderson (Amanda), Candice Axtell (Kelsey), Authur William Axtell, Joshua Blain Rhodes, Josiah Brayden Rhodes, Hayden Bryce Rhodes, Wyatt Anderson, Liliana Anderson, Joshua Anderson, Olivia Anderson, Jadeyn Anderson, Jaxson Anderson and Jillian Anderson; her sister Shirley Gullian (Robert); and her extended family, Randy Scarbrough (Susan), Ronnie Scarbrough (Lisa) and Gail Jones (Randy). She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fairhope Baptist Church (9488 AL-17, Tibbie, AL 36583). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 12:50 PM at the Fairhope Baptist Church Cemetery (9488 AL-17, Tibbie, AL 36583).
