He is survived by: his parents, Abdallah Antoine Akl and Derece Battles Akl; his brother Jonathan Akl; his grandparents, Georgette Akl, Dr. Elias, Nectar Chafary and Vera Evers (Tracy); and his cousins, Sonny Battles (Emily), Roy, Sylvie Dagher, Cindy Boustain (Sam), Kay Bagget (Ryan), Darrell, Karla Battles, Vicky Akl Nehme (Rami), Bernard and Geraldine Dagher (Gaelle). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles.
