He was predeceased by: his parents, Doloros McHenry and Emery J. Hawotte; and his brothers, Richard Hawotte and Michael Hawotte (Cynthia "Sue" Hawotte). He is survived by: his brother Thomas Hawotte; his children, Patrick Hawotte, Joseph "Wayne" Hawotte, James Hawotte and Jennifer Hawotte; his stepdaughter Cari Craver; his grandchildren, Misty Shirley (Hawotte), Jason "Michael" Schrader, Emery Hawotte, Zachary Craver and Samantha Wilburn (Kevin); his close friend Hansel Johnson; and also, Luca Shirely and Liam Wilburn.
