He was predeceased by : his wife Rose Scoggins; his mother Azilee Scoggins; his brothers, Ricky Scoggins and Robert Scoggins; and his granddaughter Madalyn Scoggins.

He is survived by : his children, Tiffany Morris (Justin) and Matt Scoggins; and his brother James Scoggins (Ann). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
