We announce the death of Wally Ray Sherrill of Town Creek, Alabama, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 91. Wally will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sherrill and Bessie Garrett Sherrill; his wife Elizabeth Sherrill; and his brothers, Wade and Wallace Sherrill.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Sprinkle (Reggie) and Timothy Sherrill (Jan); his grandchildren, Gunnar Sherrill, Krista Drinkard (Stan) and Erin Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Brett Drinkard, Mia Mitchell and Max Mitchell; and his brother Joe Sherrill (Lillie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (12950 AL-157, Moulton, AL 35650). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
