It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Lucas of Toxey, Alabama, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Dewitt Dexter and Ina Harwell Dexter; her husband Kenneth Earl Lucas, Sr.; and her son Dexter Gary Lucas. She is survived by : her children, Kenneth Earl "Ken" Lucas, Jr. of Toxey, AL and Celena L. Doggett of Toxey, AL; her grandchildren, Kenneth Earl Lucas, III, Candice L. Jenkins and Maggie D. Tait (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Jordan Strawn, Abbi Strawn and Thomas Tait.
