The passing of Lydia Diane Martin of Toxey, Alabama leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 16, 2024 at the age of 67. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Lydia Diane may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lydia Diane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lee Parnell Bailey and Willie May Ellis Bailey; her husband Larry Martin; and her granddaughter Baylee Heblon. She is survived by : her children, Lee Martin (Tara) and Dana McIlwain; her granddaughters, Madison Abigail Martin and Kaylee Peyton Martin; and her sisters, Donnie Washburn and Marie Carroll. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bumpers Funeral Home (302 Vanity Fair Ave, Butler, AL 36904). A graveside service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Martin Cemetery.
