He is survived by: his mother Jewel Gipson (Todd); his wife Anita Vann Davis; his children, Matthew Davis, Kevin Sheldon, Jonathan Sheldon and Amanda Davis Hershma; and his siblings, Larry Davis (Carolyn), Frank Gipson, Deborah Chubb (Max), Joanne Prince (James) and Donna Gibb (Chris). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 1 niece and 5 nephews.
