She was predeceased by : her parents, Harvey B. Wilbourn and Mary Stewart Wilbourn; and her siblings, William D. Wilbourn, Micheal W. Wilbourn and Thelma M. Wilbourn.

She is survived by : her husband Virgil James "Jimmy" Gilliland; and her siblings, Terry E. Wilbourn (Jackie), Charles S. Wilbourn (Connie) and Rebekah W. James (Bill). She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
