She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin Thompson and Kathleen Smith Thompson. She is survived by: her husband David Lanier Sherrill; her children, Stephan Sherrill (Terri) and Kimberly Nesmith (Daryl); her grandchildren, Taylor Terry and Tanner Terry; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Malachi, Cassian and Ronan.
