Wanda Prater Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Prater of Trinity, Alabama, who passed away on November 8, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sons, Jim Erdogan and Jeff Prater; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Erdogan; her siblings, Coleman Gillespie, Dole Gillespie, Luther Gillespie, Hobson Gillespie, Delmer Gillespie, Zenola Shelton, Ewatha McGee and Nelly Hall; and her great grandchild Carson Aldridge.

She is survived by: her husband Don Prater; her children, John Erdogan and Wendy Koshowsky (Steve); her grandchildren, Trice Koshowsky (Lin), Donly Paz-Koshowsky (Jamie), Ian Koshowsky (McKenna), Solomon Koshowsky, Aliyah Prater Crews, Jordan Aldridge (Breanna) and Hunter Aldridge; her great grandchildren, Benjamin Koshowsky and Gio Paz; her grandchild Macie Aldridge; and her siblings, Louann Harris and Wendell Gillespie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
