He is survived by: his wife Joan Cox Slaughter; his son Allridge "Al" Slaughter III (Holly); his grandchildren, Allridge "Ridge" Slaughter IV and Mary Ruth Stoltze; and his nephew Rusty Presley (Ann Beth).
