He was predeceased by: his parents, L. L. Drinkard and Ina Beard Drinkard; his siblings, Mary Claire Drinkard, Betty Knotts, Ammanette Kyzar, Charles Drinkard, Billy Drinkard, Hugh Drinkard, Alvin Drinkard, Robert Drinkard and Donnie Drinkard; and his granddaughter Kristin Ricks.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Drinkard; his daughters, Lisa Mangum (Will) and Shelia Folmar (Roy); his nephew Greg Ricks; his grandchildren, Andrew Folmar (Ashley), Judson Ricks (Robin), Rachel Cobb and Lauren Hartley (David); his great grandchildren, Henry Folmar, Evelyn Ricks, Mary Schaefer Folmar, Eloise Folmar, John Cobb, Alice Ricks and Chapman Cobb; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Tatom and Raymond Kyzar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (1621 US-29, Troy, AL 36079). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
