He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Lassiter; and his nephew John Tatom. He is survived by: his wife Jean Jones Lassiter; his daughters, Michelle "Nikki" Davenport (Shane) and Tiffany Jo Baker (Matt) of Troy, Alabama; his sister Angie Lassiter Tatom (David) of Panama City, Florida; his grandchildren, Dalton Dickey, Kaitlyn Davenport, Keaton Baker and Kenna Baker; and his uncle Leroy Wambles. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
