With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cindy Helms Long (Troy, Alabama), who passed away on July 2, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ellis, Alma Helms, Aubery and Ruby Drinkard; her parents, Foy D Helms and Lillie Jo Helms; her stepdaughter Billie Ann Walker; and her great-nephew Chase Henley.
She is survived by: her sister Kareen Helms Henley (Billy); her nieces and nephews, David Flowers, Ethan Henley, Perry Flowers (Leslie), Chris Flowers (Stacey), Daniel Henley (Molly), Christopher Henley, Amanda Sani (Enddy) and Kristi Nunnelee (Jason); her stepgrandchildren, Paige, Clay Oliver, Madison Martin and Hunter Walker; her aunt Alvernis Galimore; and her close friend Darelene Jordan. She is also survived by 21 great nieces and nephews; 7 great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dillard Funeral Home (206 Old Hwy 231 N, Troy, AL 36081). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
