We announce the death of David Eugene Richardson in Troy, Alabama, who passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 84. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Richardson and Doris Richardson; his brother Larry Richardson; and his nephew Greg Richardson. He is survived by: his significant other Karen A. Richardson; his children, Mark Richardson (Barbara), Susan Caton (Jimbo) and Julie Berry (Jeff); his grandchildren, Justin Richardson (Cassie), Amelia Clark (Chris), Bridget Nicole Spencer, Adam Horn, Clay Berry (Curstan) and Haley Richardson; and his brother Ed Richardson (Nell).
Flowers will be accepted or you may make a donation to the Pike Animal Shelter in Troy, AL or the Brundidge Methodist Church.
