She was predeceased by : her parents, Cleveland Isaiah Knotts and Annie Parker Knotts; her former life partner Joseph Harold Borland, Jr.; and her siblings, Grover, Desmond, Clevonza, James, Gillis, Robbie McLeod, Minnie Lassiter and Ann Grammer.

She is survived by : her husband Joe; her sons, Joseph Alfred Borland (Dianne) of Troy and Kenneth Harold Borland (Pat) of Auburn; and her grandson Andrew Chandler Borland of Troy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
