She was predeceased by: her husband Gerotha Head "Jerry"; her stepson Ronnie Head (Emily); her grandson Kelly Baxter; and her brothers, JC Thomas and Edward Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Carter "Buzzy" (Delma), Hope Duke and Jan Upchurch; her granddaughter April Snyder; her stepchildren, Richard Head (Diane), Randy Head and Judy Baxter (Stan); her grandchildren, Christy Leglighter, Justin Armstead, Adam Armstead, Curt Carter, Jeff Head, Jennifer Fisher, Mark Head, Mandy Young and Karen Faulkner; her brother Junior Thomas (Ann); and her sibling's children, Jake Thomas and Deena ONeil. She is also survived by beautiful great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dillard Funeral Home (206 Old Hwy 231 N, Troy, AL 36081). A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Of Christ Cemetery (5131 County Rd 1101, Troy, AL 36079).
