She was predeceased by: her sons, Keith Mitchell and Gavin Mitchell; and her parents, Bob Wesley and Elma Stewart. She is survived by: her husband James Mitchell; her son Kim Mitchell (Deanna); her grandchildren, Brooke Sheffield (Miles), Raven Mitchell, Nicole Sanders (John) and Jeff Mitchell (Laura); and her siblings, Judy Birchfield and Randy Stewart. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (1621 US-29, Troy, AL 36079). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
