He is survived by: his wife Gilda Weeks Belcher of Troy, AL; his daughters, Emily Brookins of Troy, AL and Laura Tillis (Bryan) of Enterprise, AL; his grandchildren, Matthew Kade Brookins of Phenix City, AL, Amy Katherine Tillis of Enterprise, AL, Zane William Brookins of Troy, AL and Scout Elizabeth Tillis of Enterprise, AL; his sister Margaret "Peggy" Kent of Prattville, AL; and his sibling's children, Sandy Kent of Deatsville, AL and Johnny Kent (Tina) of Troy, AL.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Park Memorial Methodist Church (750 Elba Hwy, Troy, AL 36079). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
