He was predeceased by : his parents, Manion LaFayette and Naomi Higdon. He is survived by : his children, Regina Neal (Andrew), Joseph C. Higdon (Kim) and Stacy Higdon (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Joshua, Wesley (Sara), Seth Barnett, Brooke Baker (Michael), Shaina Stansberry (Jason) and Maverick Higdon; his great grandchildren, Michaela, Hagen Baker, Gage Jackson and Cayne Higdon; and his sisters, Dianne Biddle (Alvin), Sandra Moore and Vanessa Higdon.
