He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Whittington and Ruby Whittington; and his brother Acie Whittington. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Stephen Whittington (Christy) and Tammy Whittington Jones; and his brothers, Austin Whittington and Larry Whittington (Charlotte). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
