He was predeceased by: his parents, Ural Hattaway and Nell Hattaway; his sisters, Sara Nell Carr (Ellis) and Mary Ann Hickman (Ray); his niece Ann Marie Hussey; and his nephew Ronnie Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam Paul Hattaway; his children, Cheri Howard (Brian), Michelle Roughton (Paul) and Michael Hattaway (Jeannie); his grandchildren, Lainey Hattaway, Grayson Hattaway and Anniston Roughton; and his siblings-in-law, Don and Amy Paul. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
