He was predeceased by: his parents, Hampton P. Ellis and Mattie Louvenia Jackson Ellis; and his siblings, James Ellis and Dorothy Bowden. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Ellis and Lee Caylor; and his siblings, Ruthel Ward, Martha Sue Lowery, Rachel Gibson, Sarah Ellis and Jerone Ellis. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
