Robert Mark Goodson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Mark Goodson of Troy, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 58. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert, Joyce Brady and Bessie Goodson; his father-in-law Alton Ledbetter; and his uncles, Jerry Goodson, Terry Brady and Wayne Brady.
He is survived by: his parents, Ray Goodson and Patsy Goodson; his wife Melissa Goodson; his children, Corey Goodson (Danielle) and Caitlin Stokes (Ben); his grandchildren, Sawyer Goodson, Emily Stokes, Collins Goodson and Caden Goodson; his brother Michael Goodson (Kelly); his mother-in-law Sarah Gunter (Herman); and his siblings-in-law, Kim Lisseveld and Tony Ledbetter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (1621 US-29, Troy, AL 36079). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
