He was predeceased by: his parents, Edrith Denney and Hayes Denney. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Denney; his children, Randy Jones, Nick Jones (Karen), Randal Denney (Lacy), Laura McDowell (Tony) and Stephanie Moore (Russell); and his sister Ann Cawthon (Mark). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

For people with early onset Alzheimer's, Encore is a place to go once a week where they do projects, paint, sing and mingle with other Alzheimer's patients until they get to a point where they have to go into a facility.
