Brooks; his sister Lisa Carol Brooks Ashmore; his nephew Eric Ashmore; his wife Teresa Brooks; his daughter Haley Brooks; his brother Randy Brooks (Ginny); his nieces and nephews, Meredith Brooks, Dana Brooks (Leah) and Zachry Ashmore; his brother-in-law Harry Rucks (Tracey); his nieces and nephews, Angie Simon (Bryan), Mandy Duncan (Ace), Ally Bishop (Andy) and Layne Rucks; his sister-in-law Robin Chambers; and his nieces, Hannah Estes (Andy), Ellen Lathrop (Matt) and Claudia Flynn (David).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens (Jefferson Memorial Gardens Dam, Birmingham, AL 35235).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that contributions be made to ALS research efforts such as The ALS Association to continue Barry's legacy of giving and kindness.
