He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Smith and Ruby Jo Smith; and his brother Conrad Smith. He is survived by: his wife Madge Foster Smith; his sister Javell Phillips; and his children, Lisa Herring, Martin Smith, Kelly Simon, Drew Smith, Christy Shumaker and Kimberly Smith.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
