With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jane Hart Brooks in Trussville, Alabama, born in Montgomery, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dunham Hart and Lois Long Hart; her brother William Dunham Hart I; and her daughter Martha Brooks. She is survived by: her sons, William Brooks (Pam) and Charles Brooks Jr. (Beverly); and her grandchildren, Colin, Ryan, Jason, Chase and Christopher.

Throughout her career, Jane made significant contributions to the Montgomery Public School System.
