He was predeceased by: his parent Lura Springfield; his son Jeffrey Scott Springfield; and his sister Elaine Ballentine. He is survived by: his wife Linda Bagwell Springfield of Trussville; his daughters, Tara (Beau Miller), Traci (Marcus Newell) and Tina (Shane Whitehead); and his grandchildren, Chrissy Newell, Cole Miller, Abbi Whitehead, Ella Whitehead, Phoebe Miller, Lily Newell and Kadi Whitehead.
