We announce the death of Ruth M Duren of Trussville, Alabama, born in Tarrant, Alabama, who passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 100. Ruth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She is survived by: her sons, Perry Duren, Jim Duren (Valerie) and Mark Duren; her grandsons, Wes Duren and Matt Duren (Emily); her great grandchild Louise Foster Duren; her sister Jane Johnson of Charlotte; and her caregivers, Joyce Quinn, Bettie Powe, Anita Sankey and Cynthia Thomas.
