She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Howell and Thomas Howell; her husband Thomas Joel Tarleton; and her brothers, Thomas Felix Howell (Betty) and Robert Howell (Evelyn).
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Pike (David) and JoDel Hambaugh (Dexter); her grandchildren, Ashley Pike, Callie and Rachel Pike; her great grandchildren, Tate Pike and Harper Pike; and her siblings, Helen Joyce Homan (Ray), Sandra Faye Banks (Mack), Raymond Percy Howell (Juanita), James Goodman Howell (Betty) and Jack Leonard Howell (Barbara Dale).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Ann's honor, may be made to the Tuscaloosa Community Soup Bowl, 1711 23rd Avenue, Tuscaloosa, AL, 35401, or to the donor's favorite charity.
