With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Daniel Charles Meherg of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Meherg and J. R. Meherg (J. R.); his siblings, Eloise Gregory and Jim Meherg; his sister-in-law Verta Barr Meherg; his mother-in-law Ruby Faulkner; and his brother-in-law Mike Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Coleman Meherg of Tuscaloosa, AL; his children, Doug Meherg of Pensacola, FL and Laura Angel (Josh) of Tuscaloosa, AL; his grandchildren, Eloise "Ellie" Angel and Levi Angel; his sisters, Johnnie Sanford of Ringgold, GA and Tommie Dean (Don) of Burley, ID; and his brother-in-law Gordon Gregory. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
