We announce the death of Darlene McDaniel (Tuscaloosa, Alabama), who passed away on June 3, 2026, at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny "Johnny Mac" McDaniel; her son Thurman Tate McDaniel; her parents, James Fisher and Nellie Mae Fisher; and her sisters, Frances Mattison, Barbara Sexton, Janice Barton, Margie Lovett and Billie Sue Armstron.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darlyce McDaniel Hester (Donald) of Moundville, AL and Nikki McDaniel Cameron (Ronald) of Northport; her grandchildren, Kaylan Osmer (Cody), Kelsey Cameron, Kegan Lee (Michaela), Dalton Cameron (Melinda), Courtney Moorer (Morgan), David Hester (Magen), Seth Hester and Kristen Howard; and her sisters, Jane Evans (Larry) and Martha Hall. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
