It is with sadness that the passing of David B. Walmsley of Tuscaloosa, Alabama is shared. David, born on October 1, 1943 in Rochester, New York, passed away on June 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor David by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though David is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. David’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walmsley and Hazel Walmsley; and his daughter Sara. He is survived by: his wife DruAnne; his daughter Susan Miller; his son-in-law Devon; and his grandson Banks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of West Alabama or Holy Cross Lutheran Church in David's memory.
