He is survived by: his wife Karen Montgomery Walker; his children, Leslie Camille Stanford, Britni Marion Smithson (Trip) and Dennis Cody Walker (Nicole W.); his siblings, Brenda Jean Miles (Larry), Terri Renee Evans, Stacey Michelle Perry and Michael David Walker (Julie); his grandchildren, Audrey Morris (Wade), Jacob Smithson, Brody Smithson, Benjamin Smithson, Jaylen Standford (Aleah), Raegen Stanford and Evelyn Walker; his great grandchildren, Grayson Morris and River Kayte Morris; and his friends, Tim Talley (Sandra), Gregory Mitchell (Vicky), Sydney Dudley and Dave Shettles. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the One Hope Tuscaloosa Student Center (1501 McFarland N Blvd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35406).
