She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Johnson and Adelaide Johnson Hays. She is survived by: her husband C. Britt Turner IV; her children, Sara-Elizabeth Zahl (John) and Britt Turner V (Alana); her grandchildren, Brittin, Elliot Turner, Johnny Zahl and Daphne Zahl; her siblings, Shelby Mackey (Debra), Bill Hays Jr. (Bettye), Shannon Wright (David) and Adelaide Hays Houston; her sister-in-law Leska Taylor (Alan); and also Betty Hays. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (900 Greensboro Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to First Presbyterian Church of Tuscaloosa (900 Greensboro Ave., Tuscaloosa, AL 35401), St. Andrew By The Sea (17263 Fort Morgan Road, Gulf Shores, AL 36542), St. Matthew's Episcopal Church (382 Cantitoe Street, Bedford, NY 10506) the American Cancer Society or the donor's favorite charity.
