He was predeceased by: his parents, William Doss and Verna Doss Olive; his stepfather Floyd Olive; his parents-in-law, Amos and Vista Watson; and his son-in-law Mike Henson.
He is survived by: his wife Winifred Doss; his daughters, June Strickland (Dale) and Margie Henson Colburn (Phillip); his grandchildren, Matthew Strickland (Cindy), Daniel Strickland (Sara), Brittani Moore (Matt), Caleb Strickland (Katie) and Anna Lang (Thomas); and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Benjamin, Peyton, Mason, Madi Ryan, Abbi, Emma, Walker, Jack, Lucy, Eli, Nora and Amelia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in Mr. Doss' honor, may be made to Hospice of West Alabama or CrossPointe Church Missions.
