She was predeceased by: her mother O. E. Burnside; her husband John Austin; and her daughter-in-law Kris Austin. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Austin (Kim) of Northport and Kelly Austin of Bella Vista, Arkansas.; her grandchildren, Ashlee Lewis (Garret) of San Diego, John Robert Austin II of Northport, Taylor Austin of Fayetteville and Kate Austin of Bella Vista, Arkansas.; her siblings, Randall Burnside (Mary Jo) of Springdale and Barbara Pepper (Herbie) of El Dorado; and her brother-in-law Larry Austin of Hot Springs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be sent to The 721 Project at First Baptist Church Tuscaloosa or to Alabama Hospice of Tuscaloosa.
