She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Cook and George Cook; her husband Dr. Ezra Kenneth Aycock; and her sister Patricia Ellen Yaras. She is survived by: her son Ken Aycock; her daughter-in-law Cristi Hitt Aycock; her daughter Doris "Dee" Grimmett; and her grandchildren, Clarke Grimmett, Jr. (Kirstin), Mary Grimmett Hetch (Vince), Jack Grimmett (Amanda), George Aycock, Nola Aycock and Amelia Hitt.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
