Phil Lancaster Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phil Lancaster of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who passed away on November 24, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Lancaster and Jackie Lancaster; and his sibling's children, Christin Lancaster and Craig Lancaster. He is survived by: his wife Meg Lancaster; his children, Mark Lancaster (Paige), Julie Lancaster Smith and Clay Owens; his grandchildren, Phillip Lancaster, Preston Lancaster, Fletcher Smith, Isabelle Smith and Mollie Corley (Justin); his great grandchildren, Archer and Henry Corley; his brothers, Terry Lancaster (Laura Beth), Reggie Lancaster (Rebecca) and Al Lancaster (Angie); and his siblings-in-law, Chip, Nancy Haring, Jim Haring and Nancy Patrie. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (605 Lurleen B Wallace N Blvd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401).
The family will forever be grateful to his"Angels on Earth"caregivers, Anthony Porter and Charlie Prewitt, who showed him compassion and love throughout his long battle with Parkinson's. Contributions in Phil's memory may be made to Hospice of West Alabama or to the Connect Program at Christ Episcopal Church.
