In loving memory of Richard Maurice Marsh of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who departed this world on July 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Richard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy O'Bryant Marsh; his parents, Grace Nell DeVaughn and James Luther Marsh; and his siblings, Mavis Lillian Marsh, Winnie Marsh and Charles Avery Marsh.
He is survived by: his children, Kristi Ruth Abernathy, Bradley Maurice Marsh and Johnny Oliver Abernathy; and his grandchildren, Amanda Farr (Byron) and Charles Taylor (Meagan). He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children, or Shriners Hospital for Children.
